Very nice stay, great value for money. Bring a car to visit the area!
The apartment is modern, nicely decorated, with spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The appartement is very clean, and is also cleaned one additional time during the week. The owners are very customer oriented and immediately solve an issue when it happens. It gave us a real feeling of being home away from home. If you're prepared to drive half an hour or longer, it is an excellent base to visit the Amalfi coast, Sorento, Pompei and Naples. There is a good train connection as well (go by local train to Salerno central station first), and there are boats opposite the central station that take you to the amazing Amalfi coast.
The direct environment is right next to the beach. However, the distance to Salerno center is quite far (5 km) and the direct area is clearly focused on local Italian turism. There's not that much to do for youngsters in the direct environment. Parking is a bit of a challenge during the day in August, but solves itself in the evening.
